Barcelona 4D3N Itinerary

This is a trip with my family after graduation.
I have booked accommodation from Airbnb, so that we can use kitchen and washing machine.

DAY 1

Casa Batlló is a renowned building located in the centre of Barcelona and is one of Antoni Gaudi’s masterpieces

Casa Milà, popularly known as ‘La Pedrera’ (the stone quarry), an ironic allusion to the resemblance of its façade to an open quarry, was constructed between 1906 and 1912.

Both are great buildings designed by Antoni Gaudí on Passeig de Gràcia.
It is just walking distance between them, around 10 minutes.

Taking bus 24 or 92 to Park Güell, another work of Gaudi.

Access to Monument Zone costs only €7 (buy online)
Because it is limited to 400 tickets every half an hour, you would have to choose the time slot you visit when purchasing the ticket.
Otherwise, the ticket from counter would be €8
No much difference, but if you are going in group, it does matter.

You are allowed to stay in the Monument Zone as long as you want, but once you exit, it is not possible to enter again.

DAY 2

Plaça de Catalunya, a large square in central Barcelona that is generally considered to be both its city centre and the place where the old city and the 19th century-built Eixample meet.

There is a restaurant, Els 4 Gats nearby, which said to be an unmissable stop for those interested in Modernista architecture.

But we are having lunch at La Boqueria Market (fresh market) instead.
It is near to a long street market, La Rambla.
Both markets occupied with a lot of the restaurants, but goods in La Boqueria would be cheaper, as La Rambla is a more famous spot of tourists.

Keep going down, you will pass by Columbus Monument

and reach La Barceloneta

DAY 3
Sagrada Família, Roman Catholic church designed by Antoni Gaudi.

Lunch at La Paradeta, every dishes pay by weight.

Camp Nou, FC Barcelona stadium
I make this as one of the to-visit-list because my daddy once is a football fan.

Arenas de Barcelona is a shopping center with amazing architecture.
A lift with entrance of €1 allows you to go the highest floor for panorama view, just outside the shopping center.

Magic Fountain of Montjuïc near the shopping center. Performance starts at 9.30pm every day except Monday and Tuesday (depends on season).

There is a tapas bar, Quimet y Quimet on the way to our dinner place, which said to be most iconic.

Unfortunately, it closes from 4pm to 7pm and it is the time we reached. =(
We can just have some drinks at the other cafe, enjoying the sunshine and wind.

Then go for  dinner at La Fonda

Sangria, Spanish drink, red wine with various fresh fruits

Local Spanish dishes

Paella mixta
Fideua con Gambas Almejas y Allioli (similar to Paella, with noodles instead of rice)
Calamarcitos en su tinta con pimientos y polenta (Squid in Black ink)

Since our Airbnb apartment is in very good location, we are able to reach most of the attractions by walking. Therefore, I bought T10 ( package of 10 single zone 1 tickets ) for further journey.

Single ticket €2.15
T10 €9.95
2 days unlimited pass €14.00
3 days unlimited pass €20.50

Most of the introduction of attractions taken from web.
